Will Solar Panels Save You Money
Hello Friends, today Our topic of discussion is "Will Solar Panels Save You Money"
When we talk about the upfront cost estimates of solar panels, users are apprehensive and always concerned about “Will solar panels save you money”. Homeowners, residential users, commercial and industries owners who are contemplating to install grid connected rooftop solar power plants at their premises / dwellings are perhaps concerned about the environmental issues, but also huge upfront cost involved in solar panels installation. Even after taking into account the upfront cost estimates, input tax credits, state solar subsidies, rebates, incentives etc., many people are still found to be apprehensive about the solar panels installation cost and always found ponder upon man issue i.e. “Will solar panels save you money”
Yes: Investment in Solar Photo-voltaic Modules or Solar PV Panels is worth vis-à-vis today’s electric prices.
Residential Solar panels contain solar cells, known as photo-voltaic cells, connected in series or parallel so that highest efficiency of the solar panel is achieved and the solar panels require the maximum solar energy, full sunlight as long as possible without being obstructed from trees or shade lines from the roof.
Solar Photo-voltaic is primarily used for grid connected electricity to operate residential appliances, commercial equipment, lighting and air-conditioning for all type of buildings. Through standalone systems and use of batteries, it is also well suited for remote regions where there is no electricity or very limited. Solar PV modules can be ground mounted or installed on a rooftop of a building.
First apprehension about how and where to arrange huge upfront cost / investment Solar Loan by Public Sector Undertaking / Nationalised Banks
Now-a-days all Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) / nationalized banks like IDBI, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India etc. are offering solar loans and renowned solar companies are facilitating easy access to such loans. Hence the first fear of huge upfront investment is almost omitted by the fact that 70% of the total cost of solar power plant installation may be financed by the banks.
Nationalized / PSUs banks are very keen in supporting the Government’s initiative for providing of renewable clean source of energy through the installation of rooftop solar PV plants, solar lighting system and solar water heating system. While we still contemplate Will Solar Panels Save You Money, the very first concern about arrangements of upfront cost is deviated by provision of solar loans.
Government of India, Ministry of Finance has advised all PSUs / Nationalized banks to encourage the home loan / home improvement loan for installation of rooftop solar PVs and include the cost of such equipment in their housing loan. All PSUs / Nationalized banks have instructed their branches / offices to take not of these directions and extend loan for installation of rooftop solar PVs as part of housing loans and house repair / renovation loans. Provision of solar loan makes solar panels installation easy to eliminate any apprehension about "Will Solar Panels Save You Money".
Presently, all most all DISCOM Utility companies in India charge Rupees 3 to 6 per unit per unit for domestic users while levying other extra charge like electricity duty etc. whereas it is Rupees 6 to 7 per unit for commercial users. Price of electricity generated by coal or oil is very much linked to current market prices and inflation hence very much liable for increase every year. [News Flash] Government of India is likely to increase electricity price by Rupees 3.75 per unit to combat the power tariff.bOn the other hand, solar power plant once installed is guaranteed to generate electricity consistently and coherently at least for 25 years or beyond. Presently cost of generation by solar power plant is somewhere Rupees 2 to 4 per unit considering its yielding for a longer period.

7 Steps to Install Solar Panels on Your Roof top
Hello Friends, today Our topic of discussion is "7 Steps to Install Solar Panels on Your Roof top"First of all I would request you all to Like, Share and Subscribe this Blog to get more tips and tricks about Solar Energy, solar panels and solar power plants in India.
Advantages and Benefits of Solar Power Plants
Solar panel techniques have a shiny future within the renewable energy industry, residence, Institutions, NGOs, commercial ventures and building house owners alike. Solar panels, also referred to as solar photo-voltaic panels are wonderful tools for reducing month-to-month electrical bills continuously for almost 25 years. Installation of solar panels on your rooftop will be helpful in providing clean green electricity, decreasing dependence on conventional fossil fuels, and adding worth to a house or building. Installing rooftop solar panels is without doubt one of the greatest technique to improve the value of a house or building. And, not to mention the truth that Government of India laws prolonged a 40% Accelerated Depreciation of tax credit score for commercialinstallations with Net Metering facilities whereas subsidies to the tune of 30% of project for residential, institutions and social sector for solar panel installations.
7 Steps to Installing Solar Panels as discussed in this Video can be utilized to help understanding each business and residential clients via the solar panel purchasing and installation process, and to assist for make it as easy and straightforward as doable.
7 Steps to Install Solar Panels on Your Roof top
1. Assessment of load and estimated size of Solar Panels to be installed - In some states to be relevant for the subsidies, your own home would require to be assessed for electricity load, recce of rooftop to have an energy audit carried out before installation of solar panels on your roof. This can be undertaken by Solar Energy Developer Company like DayRise Soalr Enerdy Pvt Ltd in Sonipat, Haryana, India.2. Availability of sufficient shadow free roof top area - Ensure have at least 100 square feet shadow free rooftop vacant per kilowatt available.
3. Availability of documents related to energy meter like copy of paid electricity bill of summer months, copy of AADHAR card of user and PAN Card etc,
4. Get Quotations. Solar panels are an enormous funding, however if handled and performed appropriately they'll provide a big return and improve the value of a building or residence. Shop around a bit and discover the most effective rates through bidding or quotations. But remember; do not simply search for the most affordable and cheap stuff since your solar power plant is worth to perform at least for next 25 years. Find an effectively established retailer or an EPC Company like DayRise Solar Enerdy Pvt Ltd Sonipat Haryana who is an EPC / installer with a reputed name in the Solar industry. Cheap stuff would not work and perform for next 25 years to light up your house, installations or commercial venture. So, the main Mantra is "Go for Quality, Warranty, Guaranty, AMC, After Sale Service" from the local vendor who provides indigenous PV modules to ensure timely guaranty.
5. Research the rates in the Market. Solar photo-voltaic panels fluctuate in value, which is often decided by the dimensions measured in Watts, the precise dimensions, the model, the longevity, the guarantee, and any certifications the solar panel might need. The smaller solar power plants would cost more whereas bigger the size of plant, lesser will be the cost. Refer benchmark cost fixed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy or the State Nodal Agency. Presently it is approximately Rupees 65 to 70 Thousand per kilowatt in India for the financial year 2018-19. Government offer subsidies to the tune of Rupees 20 Thousand per Kilowatt or 30% of the project cost whichever is less for the Domestic, Institutions and NGOs category. It might be a good suggestion to obtain a number of quotes, and if there are huge variations, you may like to inquire why it is so?. And, as talked about earlier than, do not select your solar panels based mostly solely on cost; be sure it would provide sufficient energy to suit your solar power requirements.
6. Determine the required Size of the Solar Power Plant in Watts. To start, examine your electricity invoice. It will provide you with a variety of helpful info to estimate your energy requirements. Find out how many electricity units you consume per day, per and annually. When sunlight is perfect, a 100 Watt panel will generate 100 Watts of electricity per hour. The electricity requirements of almost all domestic properties, house installations will be fulfilled with a solar system between 1 to 5 kilowatts or 1,000-5,000 Watts. And generally, 1 sq. foot of solar photo-voltaic panels in brilliant sunlight yields 10 Watts, however that may fluctuate relying on the kind of sunlight available. Ultimately, when figuring out the required dimension of solar panels make sure that they are going to provide sufficient electricity to meet or exceed your electricity requirements.
7. Choose the Type of Solar Panels. There are three primary kinds of solar photo-voltaic panels which are available to select from and fluctuate in inefficiencies. Mono-crystalline panels are basically one giant solar cell. They are smaller than the poly-crystalline panels. Poly-crystalline panels are comprised of many small cells grouped collectively which produce rather less efficiency than the mono-crystalline panels, and are certainly available for a lesser value.
Few More Tips other than the 7 Steps to Install Solar Panels on Your Roof top
- One should additionally take into account that the mounting structure framework required to mount the panel type must be MS Dip Hot Galvanized type which would add value to the solar plants for a longer period and future upkeep.
- As there are several types of solar photo voltaic panel roofing system available, there are additionally several types of installation strategies, comparable to a grid-tied system, which provides the power to have extra solar photo-voltaic panels added at a later date.
- Review the quote and solar system specs. Read the all relevant information available and be very clear on all features of the brand new solar panel system. Here are particular factors to overview:
- Total Cost - Design, Labor, installation and Commissioning of Solar Plant.
- Projected financial savings - what number of years will it take to pay itself off? or Simply Return of Investment.
- Operational and upkeep prices for AMC, if any.
- Requirement of any other additional charges, if any
- Solar system make and Model - is it a reliable brand approved by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)?
- Taxes or GST if any?
- Tax credit ADT - 40% available to business or commercial ventures.
- Utility rebates i.e Solar Generation Incentive by States or DISCOM Utilities.
- Warranty - what number of years? Most respected manufacturers will provide a 25 yr guarantee. If much less, inquire how lengthy it takes to pay itself off.
- Installation of Rooftop Solar Power Plants / Solar Panels would prove to be an awesome method to decrease your electricity bills for next 25 years with one time upfront cost. In addition to fulfill your electricity requirements, it would also help to decrease your carbon footprint on the environment. Solar

absorbing sunlight with photovoltaic cells, generating direct current (DC) electricity
and then converting it to usable alternating current (AC) electricity with the
help of smart solar inverter technology. AC energy or electricity then flows
through the home's electrical panel via Array Junction Box (AJB) and

Now
it is easier to understand “What is the difference between On-grid and off-grid
solar power?” On-grid solar power means your solar power plant or solar panels system
is tied to your local utility company's system which is called as “grid” or
“mains electricity”. Each and every state in India has its own Electricity
Distribution Corporations / Companies like state of Haryana has Uttar Haryana
Bijli Vitaran Nigam (UHBVN) and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitaran Nigam (DHBVN).
Most of the residence / Institutional / NGOs / NPOs / Industries use Grid
Connected Rooftop Solar Power Plant System so that their load runs on solar
throughout day time while extra units / electricity produced by the system is
fed in the grid through Bi-Directional Net Meter. Extra Units or electricity fed in the day
time can be utilized by the user during night through Bi-Directional Net Meter.
This system is helpful to curtail your electricity bills up to 90% for almost
25 years. Let us understand this by a
simple example of 5 kWp Grid Connected solar power plant installed at a User’s
rooftop is expected to produce 4-5 units per kilowatt per day. Thus a 5 kWp solar plant will produce at
least 20 units per day. So in this example, user’s consumption may be 10 units
during day time and similar amount of units at night. So, after providing 10
units to the user’s load, remaining 10 units are fed in the Grid during day
time and same is received back during night time. At the end, we can summarise that user had
produced his own 20 units by the solar system and utilized his whole 20 units
(10 during and 10 at night) by the help of On-Grid Inverter and Bidirectional
Net Meter. We may note here, that On-Grid system requires availability of Mains
electricity to enable feeding in excess units in the Grid. In case of Grid failure, On-Grid solar power
plant would also stop working due to International Safety and Security measures
for Grid workforce. So we can say, on-grid solar power plant is installed in
such areas where grid availability is almost 24 hours to enable excess
generation to be fed in the grid.

we can define that On-Grid Systems are solar pv systems that only generate
power when the utility power grid is available. They must connect to the grid
to function. They can send excess power generated back to the grid when you are
overproducing so you credit it for later use. On-Grid solar system can be
installed in most of the Metropolitan Cities, Urban and Sub-Urban cities of
India where grid availability is almost 24 hours.

Though Commercial users are not eligible for Government Solar Subsidy however, Commercial users and Industrial sectors are also benefited by installing solar power plants at their ventures to avail 40% Accelerated Depreciation of Tax, Net Metering facilities and Solar Generation Incentives to reduce their bill up to 90% for next 25 years.
Solar panel system generates electricity from sunlight through its cells. Solar Subsidy to install solar panels is an idea from Central Government and State Governments that helps to subsidize the price of installing panels. This makes it more affordable for all stream of people whether they are rich or middle class. There are various other rebates around the world, and they are different in each state and country. However, most countries now simply have a feed-in-tariff scheme which subsidizes the price of installing a solar system.
As solar subsidy offers financial support to Institutions, households and community groups, so they can produce solar power on their own by installing small-scale electricity systems. Net Metering by DISCOM Utility ensures that users electrical bills are reduced almost to 90% for next 25 years by means of Power Purchase Agreement between User and DISCOM Utility.
The latest Net metering scheme is now very beneficial; save thousands off a grid connected solar system. Businesses, homeowners and community groups are eligible for this rebate program. There are a number of rebates available for solar system that includes GCRT (Grid Connected Rooftop Solar scheme) and Net Metering. In Net metering scheme, the extra power that you don't use during day time is fed into the grid which equates the electricity you consume during night when solar is off. Unused and accumulated electricity units produced by a solar power system may be utilized by the user within one financial year. Feed-in-tariff depends on the energy provider and the state.
You can literally save many Rupees on grid connected and off grid solar panels if you Install Solar Panels With Solar Subsidy, solar panel rebates or grants. The latest solar rebate scheme means that when you Install Solar Panels With Solar Subsidy and produce solar power is a not only significantly viable investment but also a clean green electricity idea for the future generations. It is the government's commitment to reduce the amount of electricity in the grid. The quantity of solar subsidy, rebate grants and the eligibility conditions vary from state to state. Even within a same country, there may be variations. In India, most of the people are enjoying solar subsidy and grants ranging from 30 to 70% as per state provisions that can be rewarded both for Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Power Plants, solar water heating system and agricultural solar water pumps.
It's time to find your eligibility Install Solar Panels With Solar Subsidy. While some governments need you to be an inhabitant of the place for a fixed time period, some others may have ceiling on the solar subsidy, rebate and grants that a single house can get benefit. A few governments sometimes use property value and personal income as a scale to consider the valid rebate and sometimes, seasonable rebates are also offered to solar energy users. It is necessary to discover whether you are eligible Install Solar Panels With Solar Subsidy. It is possible that sometimes, the rebates may be applicable only for specific panelslike Indian Government have imposed restrictions for out side solar panels. This would now become very easy for you to decide the size of your solar power system.
Know Renewable Energy Sources before You Purchase A Solar Power System
Notable among the solutions currently on offer are those that derive energy either directly or indirectly from the sun. These systems are of three main types: photo-voltaic systems, wind systems and micro hydro systems. Photo-voltaic systems use solar panels to convert sunlight directly into electricity, while wind and micro hydro systems use turbines and generators to convert the energy in moving air and water (extremely driven by the sun) into electricity. In general, photo-voltaic systems are the most useful, adaptable and flexible renewable energy systems currently available today, and can be installed in almost any location with good results.
Consider Essential Questions before you purchase a Solar Power System
While photo-voltaic energy systems are proven equipment which has been around for decades, they are not yet well understood by the common public. There are a range of essential questions which must be considered before you purchase a Solar Power System, because even with subsidies and rebates such systems entail a substantial investment.
The first question is quite simple: how much energy is the system required to supply? The design of any solar power system must begin with a detailed and thorough audit of energy requirements. During the energy auditing process, it is important to identify area, load and of course the total investment. Seek an Energy Audit / consultation from Dayrise Solar Enerdy Pvt Ltd by requesting at http://dayrisesolar.com/get-quotations
Decide you requirement before you purchase a Solar Power System
- Grid Connected Solar Power System for people lives in urban areas like District Cities or Metropolitan Cities etc. Following the energy audit, the next question is what types of photo-voltaic system best suits for your requirements? For anyone in an urban environment, grid-connected On-Grid / Hybrid solar power systems which feed energy directly into the power grid probably make the most sense. These systems are becoming increasingly common as more power utility companies embrace the technology and are updating their metering and accounting systems to accommodate them. Grid connected systems work on a simple principle: when your photo-voltaic system produces more power than you need, the excess is fed into the grid and your meter in effect runs "backwards", creating a credit for your electricity account. At those times when your energy demands exceed your supply, extra power is drawn from the grid. At the end of each billing period, energy generated and energy consumed are reconciled and you either pay for the energy you have used or receive solar generation incentive for the energy you have supplied
- Off-Grid System for those living in more remote locations like villages or small towns, where access to the public electricity grid may be either non-existent due to frequent power failures, limited grid availability or too much expensive energy. In this case, a standard Off-Grid Solar Power System with Solar Power Plant, Solar Inverter, charge Controller, Solar Batteries will be required. Such systems are different from grid-connected systems in that they must reliably supply all electrical energy requirements as there is no grid or limited grid to fall back on. Off-Grid systems also involve a greater investment because, unlike grid-connected systems, they require a battery bank and solar charge controller (regulator) for energy storage.
To summarize, 10 Tips are provided here before you purchase a solar power system
- Seek Recommendations from Friends / Relatives who have already got their solar power plants installed and running successfully or at least they know a solar power system integrator / developer who is registered as a Company with Government to ensure quality, reasonable rates and After Sales Service.
